Cause

The relevance to implement the project, coming from the team members.

In essence, we see urban activism as rural/urban-oriented action and grassroots engagement initiated by citizens that relates to urban space as ‘’mobilisation of human rights’’ circulating around the goals of collective needs or public infrastructure.
Zafar Saydaliev
CGE Erfurt e.V.
Although varied in the methods, the aim of this urban activism, in general, is to focus on improving the quality of urban environment and space, urban society, and urban life. Hence, the role of urban activism is more sensitive to the dynamics and challenges in society.
Dr. Ammalia Podlaszewska
CGE Erfurt e.V.
The project will concentrate on urban development to foster participation of citizens in decision-making processes, how to establish dialogue and how to involve local population in democratic and transparent decision making in their towns.
